Home Health Community Liaison

A Home Health Marketer is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships with care facilities across the network. Responsible for developing census as defined through targeted goals of the business plan. Serves as the admissions contact for the care facilities collecting all pertinent information needed to admit the patient for Home Health Services.
Total Education, Vocational Training, and Experience:
Two years of hospice, home health, or senior care experience.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in healthcare sales, especially home care and/or hospice
Ability to market aggressively while simultaneously maintaining positive industry relationships
Demonstration of good communication, negotiation, and public relations skills
Ability to interpret and work within are home health rules and regulations
Ability to work independently under general instruction on a variety of special projects
Ability to perform critical thinking, active listening, judgment and decision making, effective speaking, time management, persuasion, persistence, flexibility, and social perceptiveness
Excellent oral/written communications skills
Ability to interact in a positive manner and communicate well with staff, referral sources, and the community about services provided
